Langdon, can you share a little bit about InnovationLabs working relationship with Griot’s Eye and its founder, Christopher Fuller?
InnovationLabs has relied on Griot’s Eye for more than 20 years. We have worked with Christopher in dozens of session and workshops (maybe hundreds!). We consider Griot’s Eye to be an essential business partner, which brings not only exceptional skill, but also a great spirit of creative collaboration.
First a little context – can you tell us why you were interested in hiring a graphic recorder and/or infographic designer in the first place?
Graphic recorders provide very valuable feedback during the creative process for groups, as their visualizations help people to formulate and refine their ideas-in-development.
What made you decide to choose Griot’s Eye over other graphic recording companies? (What was different about us?)
Christopher is one of the very best scribes in the world, and we have worked with him for more than 3 decades. There are very few people we would consider working with, and he is one of them. He is a unique talent.
Can you tell us what the general consensus was from your client regarding the services provided by Griot’s Eye?
Long after an event or workshop is done, people often remember the visualizations more than any other aspect of the session. They are fascinated by the work as it unfolds, and they are happy to study the final work and reconnect with their best ideas.
Finally, would you recommend others hire a graphic recorder and/or infographic designer from Griot’s Eye for their next strategy session or visioning needs?
Graphic recording is an essential part of the collaborative/creative process, and we wouldn’t consider doing a session without it.
